Richard was born and raised in Oklahoma City and attended Oklahoma State University before beginning his 40 plus year career in Financial Services in 1974.
Outside of the office Richard has a number of personal hobbies including snow skiing and woodworking. Richard also plays in a rock band specializing in tunes from the 50's, 60's and 70's, and has performed in the Oklahoma City Festival of the Arts for over 12 years as well as the Edmond Summer Concert Series for 11 years.
Richard also volunteers at Crossings Community Church as a video production specialist and lives in Edmond with his best buddy, Henley, his 2 year old Sheltie.
